On a winter's day
I bundled Madeline and Connor up yesterday to go break off icicles (several of which are now in the freezer) and expend some pent-up energy. These two photos speak volumes about their personalities.
I sooo remember putting icicles in the freezer. Why did we do that! I guess icicles are no more common in Texas these days than they were when I grew up there.
She's very calm about it all - he's over the top excited. How cute!
Love these pictures. My oh-so-cool fourteen-year-old was SO excited by the icicles we had yesterday that he also gathered several up and they are in our freezer, too! Must be a universal kid-thing (for Texas kids!)
That Connor looks like such a BOY!!! And Madeline is BEAUTIFUL!
Funny- we used to do that in CA. In MT, we simply "move on". It's gorgeous, but after sooooo many months, the bloom is off the proverbial rose about now. Ack!
I do believe that you have my J in a younger form. Does his moth move that constantly, too?
Missing you horribly- glad to see you are back (oh, and I found that BLUE for the walls- yippee!!!!)

Love it! I think Connor and A. would HIT IT OFF.
Perfect :)
(You know you live in TX when you put your icicles in the freezer!)

And just for the record, you make very cute kids!

Oh! My comment published! It never does so I didn't even put my name on it...it's me, Phyllis!
Toni, I think the moral would be to try not to have temper tantrums in front of our kids. I say "I think" because I haven't quite mastered that one.
My voice is probably still reverberating through the trees. I believe you and I have already emailed about that bad habit, though, haven't we?
We need to have lunch :)

Madeline looks like a little snow angel and Connor just looks like a party waiting to happen. I'm betting they both get some of these traits from you.
Either way, they're beautiful. : )
I have a family portrait of us that speaks volumes like this.
In fact, my boy has an expression pretty similar to your sons... with a little bit of tongue pushed into the cheek...
Blessings,
Karla
Hi Toni,
Your pictures made me giggle. Isn't it funny how two kids can be so different? My two are like day & night as well.
Jennifer
